How To Help Your Students Write A School Library Essay
How To Help Your Students Write A School Library EssayBefore your students write their own school library essay, ask them to read through samples of essays by successful school library books. Ask them to rate the samples on a scale of one to five. Find out if they agree with all the strengths and weaknesses of the sample essay and if there is anything that they can learn from it.When students review samples, they will also be able to notice areas in which they can improve the essay, such as taking more reading time or providing additional details about an event. Some people will recommend that teachers get into the habit of asking students to read some essays prior to giving them a grade, especially in the first year of school. They will feel more comfortable allowing students to read something in advance, before judging its content. Also, by encouraging students to take time to read through samples, they will have a chance to learn more about reading strategies that can help them imp rove their essay writing. They will find that when they read through sample essays, they will begin to understand what makes some examples work well and what aspects of the essay they will need to be aware of when they write their own school library essay. The purpose of your students' first school library essay is to give you an opportunity to introduce them to various genres and to teach them how to turn a particular topic into a school library essay. During this time, you can show them how to structure a good introduction for your essay, which includes introducing the writer and explaining their connection to the topic at hand. Discussing a topic that they may not know much about will help them better grasp the key concepts that make up that topic. In order to prepare your students for writing their own school library essay, you should allow them to read through samples. Take note of any inconsistencies that you find among the samples and which are lacking in the main body of the e ssay. List the strengths and weaknesses of the samples in order to show students where they may be going wrong. Point out the strengths and weaknesses to reinforce that the essay is well-written and does not contain any errors that were missed by your students during the review of samples. For your students to truly learn how to write a school library essay, they should use examples that they have previously encountered in school. Encourage them to use an existing sample as a means of introducing your students to different styles. You should also make sure that the sample essay is long enough to give your students plenty of opportunities to practice this style of writing. You should encourage your students to make sure that their first sample is consistent with the tone of the whole essay. In addition to reviewing reading and writing samples, use your own experiences to help your students discover what works and what does not. Let your students use your own experience to learn importa nt skills. For example, use examples from an essay you wrote in the first semester of high school. Teach them to analyze certain points in your example essay and to use examples that they have learned in their school library essays. While reviewing and reading through samples is an excellent way to inspire your students to begin writing a school library essay, they will need more than inspiration alone to be successful. You should also be prepared to give them specific directions on how to organize their first library essay and give them examples to use as guidelines. If your students do not read through samples as you instruct them, they may not follow your directions completely.

Analysis Of The Book The Van - 1378 Words
The van drives me to the edge of town to a cabin. A gruff voice tells me not to move. Was this where they kept the prisoners? Is this how it ends for me? All I wanted to do was to be with Nick, have him hold me every night and actually feel love once again. Now here I am in an old abandoned shack. Paint peeling off the walls, no air conditioning, and no toilet. There was an outhouse, but the sign on the door says ââ¬Å"Out of Order.â⬠I am in hell. I try to distract myself from wondering what will come of me in the morning. The sound of the dripping water from the faucet keeps me up for a little while, but I eventually fall to sleep. Suddenly I am awoken by a loud banging on my door. This is it. My life is over. Opening the door, I seeâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦We drove right out of of Gilead and made our own little home in California. If only that was actually how it ended. I wish it was, what a great story to tell my daughter, right? The day after my daughter is born, I a m gone, dead. The only reason they are keeping me alive is for my daughter. Serna Joy will get to keep her, and Nick will never know that she was actually his. I am not surprised; I did not obey the laws and now I will have to face the consequences. I hope the next Offred finds my note, ââ¬Å"La rà ©bellion est parmi vous. Allez le trouver.â⬠Rebellion is among you. Go find it. In Atwoodââ¬â¢s The Handmaidââ¬â¢s Tale language, love, and rebellion are three of the most important topics discussed. All three show up throughout the book within almost every single chapter. Language was hard to find. Love was basically unattainable. Rebellion was among the entire city of Gilead. In my creative piece, I expanded on language, love, and rebellion to show that Atwood was trying to tell us that all three are factors of our everyday lives that we all take for granted. Offred was lucky to have had the ability to read, write, and spell throughout the story. I had Offred write another note because within the story she found the note left by the last handmaid. It was only fitting for her to write one to the next girl. Diagnosis Of Hepatitis A Of A Restaurant Worker In Cumulus Inc
Question: Discuss about the Diagnosis Of Hepatitis A Of A Restaurant Worker In Cumulus Inc. Answer: Introduction The article has been chosen the newspaper The Herald Sun and it is based on the diagnosis of Hepatitis A of a restaurant worker in a famous restaurant of Australia named Cumulus Inc. Diners at the restaurant were warned about the alert related to Hepatitis A with which a worker was diagnosed. The people who visited the restaurant were warned that they were under the threat of getting the symptoms of Hepatitis A. The Department of Health of Australia was notified about the male worker who was diagnosed with this disease. The diners of the restaurant were suggested to visit the physician for a check-up of they visited the restaurant (Heraldsun.com.au. 2018). Analysis of the article I agree with the steps that were taken by the Australian Department of Health which was related to the prevention of the spread of Hepatitis A among the people of the city through the employee who was diagnosed with the disease. This step was able to increase the awareness among the employees and the visitors of the restaurant about the symptoms of disease and way it can spread. However, I do not agree with the behaviour that was shown by the management of the famous restaurant. The officials of the restaurants did not try to alert the diners of the restaurant about the issues that can be caused by the food handled by the worker who was diagnosed with the disease. The restaurant owners had informed the Australian Department of Health about the issue and the department has taken steps to solve this issue (Richmond et al. 2017). I agree with the statement that was given by Dr. Finn Romanes, a senior health physician that the diners who ate food at the restaurant need to visit a general physician so that they can get a free vaccine for Hepatitis A. The restaurant management was also made aware of the symptoms that can occur in the patients suffering from this disease and seek medical help if required. The symptoms of the disease that were discussed by the doctors included, nausea, fever, vomiting, dark urine, yellow skin and yellow eyes as well. I agree with the warning that was given to the people of the city about the time period within which the virus of the disease can attack them. The infection related to Hepatitis A can is spread from the faeces of the person who is affected. The presence of the affected worker in the restaurant can be harmful for the diners and the other staff members of the restaurant as well (van Gemert et al. 2017). I agree with the advice that was given by the doctor related to the symptoms and the after effects of the disease for the staff of the restaurant and the diners as well. The Department of Health had spread awareness regarding the effect of the virus of the disease on the food that will be served to the diners of the restaurant. The virus can be spread if the workers do not clean their hands after using the toilet (MacLachlan, Locarnini and Cowie 2015). I agree with the awareness that has been spread by the Australian Department of Health about all the aspects of the disease and the ways by which it can affect the diners who visit the restaurant. The disease can be spread if the by the infected objects, food and the beverages which are used to serve food to the diners. I agree with the importance that has been given to the practices related to personal hygiene that is required to be practised by the staff of the restaurant. The hygiene maintained in the restaurants is directly related to the health of the diners who visit this place. The staff of the restaurants need to wash and clean their hands thoroughly after they use the toilet before they touch and handle the food (Thompson et al. 2017). I agree with the steps that have taken by the owners of the restaurant regarding the clean-up related operations after the worker was detected with the disease. The Australian Department of Health had also alerted the diners about the risk related to the disease before they made booking in the restaurant (Heywood et al. 2017). I totally agree with the initiative that has been taken by the Department of Health by providing free vaccines to the other staff of the restaurant. The cases related to Hepatitis A has been on the rise before this incident was reported. The Stare government therefore had to introduce two dose vaccines for the people who have been on drugs for the past few months (Waller et al. 2018). I agree that the timely reporting of the incident has been helpful in creating awareness among the patrons and the diners of the restaurant about the effects of the disease. The risks related to the disease have also been spread among the other citizens of the country after the occurrence of the incident. I, however do not agree with the delay that has been made by the Australian Department of Health in taking steps regarding the prevention of the diseases. The incident has further led the Department to take steps about the spreading of awareness related to the disease (Aggleton 2016). Conclusion The analysis can be concluded by stating that the Department of Health of Australia and the restaurant had taken all the necessary steps that were required to prevent the spread of disease among the diners and the people of the city. However, the people of Victoria were under the threat of this disease from a long time and the steps related to prevention should have taken long before the actual occurrence of the incident. The restaurant owners also need to spread awareness among the diners of the restaurant so that the staff and the diners can be made aware of the effects of the disease. The early steps that could have been taken by the Department of Health of Australia would be able to change the present situation and could prevent the incident from taking place. These steps could be of major help for the smooth operations of the restaurant and improvement of health of the citizens. References Heraldsun.com.au. (2018).Hep A risk at top Melb restaurant. What Microscope Would You Use to Examine Unstained Urine Samples For The Future?
What Microscope Would You Use to Examine Unstained Urine Samples For The Future? The essay 'What Microscope Would You Use to Examine Unstained Urine Samples for The Future?' by Kristina Dobson was published in 'Receptuals' in 2020. The essay is an insightful commentary on society's habits and demands of scientific research.Dobson observes that when scientists wanted to gain a larger body of knowledge about a chemical compound, they usually first needed to use a microscope. Dobson uses this example to call attention to the power of microscopes and how it can help a person to gain a better understanding of science. Dobson also calls attention to the difficulties encountered when trying to understand the properties of something that has only been tested using a microscope. She illustrates her point with a story about one of her husband's friends. He had been dating a friend's sister who loved to cook. After a while, the friend's brother became convinced that he could easily find out every thing that the friend was afraid to know about a certain product. In his quest to find out what was in some of the mystery food products, he used a microscope and found out that some of the things in those foods were very dangerous. The story concludes with Dobson writing, 'The answer is never in his microscope, of course. Perhaps, the answer is simply that he never stopped to think that he really didn't want to know.'The essay is also reminiscent of a chapter titled 'An Elicited Conversation' from 'Etymology: An Introduction' by Reuben Palmer. Palmer writes about another writer who had an epiphany when she saw a butterfly in a photographic plate. Here's a hint, if the word 'epiphany' has no ending letter in the word 'episteme', the author is almost certainly a famous poet or playwright. Dobson discusses an experience she had with a clairvoyant while she was playing tennis. 'My eye was on the ball while my intuition was busy peering through the ground in front of me to the people who were playing tennis,' she writes. She explains that she and her friend had practiced several times a day but nothing had ever clicked. She says that when she tried to focus on the ball, she saw the moment when she met her clairvoyant guide in person. We are all exposed to so much unexplained and unverifiable information every day, I suspect we've all experienced some kind of epiphany. Perhaps you will have one soon.
